Bohemian Grove Documents Unmask Alleged Web of Powerful Secret Society Puppeteers

A leaked list shows some members of a very secret men's club in California's wine country. The names include former late-night TV host Conan O’Brien, billionaire and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and ex-Google CEO Eric Schmidt.

The club is called Bohemian Grove. It's a private 2,700-acre campground in Sonoma County that holds a two-week retreat each year. It also has a clubhouse in San Francisco. An independent journalist got this membership list and a club member confirmed it, according to the San Francisco Standard.

The big list from 2023 has more than 2,000 members. These are top people in business, tech, and finance. They are grouped into “camps,” which are like fraternities.

The club is known for its “Cremation of Care” ceremony and for letting powerful people network. For a long time, rumors say it's a social spot for the elite.

Other names on the list include Paul Pelosi (husband of former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi), the late singer Jimmy Buffett, and billionaire political donor Charles Koch.

A spokesperson for the Bohemian Club said they don't keep member lists because the group is so secret.

The journalist, Daniel Boguslaw, got the list by repeatedly asking a member from the Bay Area for weeks. He published the names on Wednesday.

Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger was a member for many years. People like famous actor and director Clint Eastwood and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas are said to be regular guests.
